UPDATE:
My dog, who does not know many useful tricks like not peeing on the floor or not eating road food, has shown us he knows the best trick in the world. The high five.

Also, we are moving to Arkansas.

...not that much, but I like the MFA program there, and I got in! (I don't know if you know John Hennessy at Umass (English Dept.), but he got his MFA there a few years ago and convinced me to apply. Also, I think you would like John. He used to be wicked punk. He still is in a lot of ways, but just looks like a guy now.

my dog has become an expert at the "look behind you!" during tug-of-war. it's alarming because otherwise she's really not that smart.

season 2 is on DVD now! also greg does not know, though i think someone was dangerously close to revealing it while we were in the audience in a play in providence.
i'm not sure when i have to go yet, though i think it will be sometime in august. meantime, i am definitely trying to plan a weekend in NY. soon.
