me and franny
I went to Fayetteville this weekend, and now it is all very real. This is the place we'll live for the next four years. Four years is a long time. Granted, my seven years in the valley never seemed that long, not until the end, and Greg will be with me, and my pets, and that's really all I'll need to make it seem enough like home. Except hotter. And sweatier. And hillier.

Thankfully, it is absolutely gorgeous, and everyone I met there was extraordinarily friendly and open. More at another time, maybe. I am still trying to take it all in.

The moving...
Hey Jaboob,
As a person who made the move from MA to the south I understand your position. Anywhooo.. I have grown to love the south and Arkansas borders Tennessee so we can always visit! You'll love it!

Yeah, how far is Nashville? Is is nearer to Arkansas or Kentucky? I'd love to come visit. Rachel (Lewis, one of my old roommates) is living in Memphis, and I am pretty sure that's only about 5 hours away! How are you, and how is Jason?

I miss you and I need you to know I think of you every time I am washing me feet in the tub, and then the "washing my feet in the tub" song pops in my head.

Arkansas borders TN on the west so depending on where in Arkansas you are you could potentially be really close to Memphis (I know nothing about the geography of Arkansas).Jason & I accidently drove into Arkansas one time while trying to navigate Memphis so its really close. Nashville is in the middle of TN, about 3 1/2 hours to memphis. I am great! How are you?
